Found a bad sight when I took off my engine covers today :(
Ya know, I kinda had the same thought that it was odd that half of them started leaking all at once, so I'll give your suggestion a shot and see that everything is tightened properly. On the other hand though, I don't take off that plastic cover all too often, so its possible that one started leaking a while back, then another, then another and then I saw what was going on and assumed they all started at once. Who knows. Either way though, the general consensus I've seen about this issue is that the o-rings do in fact wear out over time and should be replaced every now and again, so what says I kill two birds with one stone and replace the rings anyway for good measure and then be sure that the rails are tight upon re-installation?
Also, thanks for the heads up on those bungs. From visual memory, I'm not sure what you're talking about right off, but I'm sure once I take a look at it again, I'll know exactly what you're talking about when I see it.
