Found Out Why My Rear Sway Bar Broke

So today i lifted up my car and took off the broken part thats been dangling for like 2 weeks now and well, appearantly it had been cut half way through with a gridner or something. wtf >.<

yikes! That does look like someone tried to cut it with a cutoff wheel, but why the f*ck would anyone do that?

beats me =/. now im just trying to figure out if the car really NEEDS a new sway bar, like if it would be a safety issue if it didnt have one >.<
