Front Mount Bracket
Ok so, yet again, i have broken my front engine mount bracket...the thing that connects to the block with 3 screws and very weak! This will be the 2nd one i have broken, and the 3rd one that has been broken, cause the first time wasn't my fault, i bought the car that way. I was at the track, here in Texas close to North Dallas, before i was even able to run for the first time it broke...
So anyways i just thought i'd ask, is there any company or website, that sells a strong front bracket? anything that is stronger then the OEM one cause apparently it cant hold the pressure of my little engine, so how the hell is it gonna stand up to it when i get more power? so if you know anything, or maybe any tips/tricks i could do to keep another one from breaking plz let me know cause this is slowing me down having to keep replacing this damn mount...
BTW, it a 96 Audi A4 V6
Thanks

034 makes one for the 1.8... I don't know of anybody making them for the 12v V6 though. I can't believe you're making enough power to break that, actually
.
My best advice would be to get some track density engine/transmission mounts and that will get rid of a lot of the slop you have, and put less strain on the front bracket.
