Snub Mount plus Bracket (minus Bracket?)

Snub Mount plus Bracket (minus Bracket?)
Today I installed the 034 Motorsport snub mount + bracket. Easy enough to do, all went well. I love the new feel of the shifts, but I'm not terribly impressed with the increased vibrations. I know the product description mentions "a slight increase in vibration", but that's a bit of an understatement. It's like a deep buzzing that goes right into my chest. Not very pleasant, and not really what I bought an Audi for. I still feel remnants of it, and I'm not even in the car anymore.
So what if I remove the new bracket, put the OEM bracket back on, and keep the poly snub mount? Will that get rid of some of the vibrations while still improving shift quality over stock?
And yes, I did idle and rev the engine for a few minutes with the new bracket on before fully tightening the bolts.

Thanks!
How should the snub mount sit in the OEM bracket? Is it supposed to make contact anywhere while the engine is at rest? The slots for the bolts leave a wide latitude of adjustment, so I assume that adjustment is there out of necessity. I didn't get any instructions with the kit, and all the DIY's I've found out there don't really specify.
