I actually ran a Walbro GSS340 in my stock basket with no sleeve and had no issues with it.

This company offers different thickness sleeves and sock filters that can be bought alone

This filter works for the GSS340

What filter sock to use in conjunction with a Walbro 255 to make it a 'plug and play' install?

Is there some substantiation for the 300 awhp (400 cHP in my books) available?

I have a fuel pressure gauge installed, and are not (yet) seeing a drop.
Running 22-24 psi on 350cc/4 bar, but pegging the 70mm (ID) MAF on my AEB from 5k rpm on. Area/flow corrected, that equates to 256 g/sec (320 cHP in my books).

Hope eliminate the current MAF bottleneck by installing a 76mm ID MAF housing (and corresponding fueling) this weekend.

If above claim holds water, I may still get by with the stock pump (not expecting to make more than 350 cHP even de-bottlenecked).
