Angry Fuel System for a chipped 1.8t

I've had my car (1997 A4 1.8t Quattro) chipped for a couple of months now. 1 bar 91 octane. It started shuttering under full throttle a couple of weeks ago. Before that i installed a K&N air filter, i thought it might of gotten oil on the MAF. When I inspected the MAF no oil but it did have a crack so i replaced the MAF. After that i seafoamed the car, after it got cleaned out i changed the oil with 5w30 synthetic and replaced the plugs with NGK's. The previous owner installed S4 coilpacks so i don't think it is that. Theres the history.............NOW MY ACTUAL QUESTION: With the chip on is it a good idea to repace the FPR with a new 4 bar or 5 bar. Also what about replacing the fuel pump with a 255lph? This weekend i might replace the fuel filter. I've also heard that switching out the divertor valve is highly recommended. Mainly i'm wondering about the fuel system but leave me any info you guys have. THANKS!!!

I would suggest upgrading the dv, and your car comes with coilpacks that say "s4" FYI. You could still very likely be misfiring. I'd get it scanned. My money is on the dv or coilpacks. No need to upgrade your fueling

yeah I think fueling wise; if anything, it'd be a clogged fuel filter....

Your car comes stock with a 4 bar FPR and thats what the chips are tuned for, 5 bar FPR is only used on some of the K04 tunes when using the stock injectors.

Just sounds like your having some misfire issues and the first thing to look at is the plugs and then the coils.

Also if you have a Vagcom to look at what codes have been thrown, if you dont have one look at getting one.

The model of the rims are ASA AR1's...........So i changed out the fuel filter and thats wasent it...That is a pain in the *** btw(not getting it in or out but getting the brass rings to properly seal).......If you guys havent figured it out by now i'm trying to go from cheapest part to most expensive. Are there any sensors that are prone to going out. If not i might get new coil packs and a diverter valve. I need to figure this out before i can upgrade the turbo. I have a stainless manifold, downpipe, t40e .50a/r, and a bunch of other misc. Thanks for all the replys.
