Fuel Trim: System too Lean?
Thats when looking at block 032 comes in handy. A vacuum leak after the turbo would show lean at idle and rich at part throttle, if the 02 sensor is going bad the fuel trim readings will show lean on both. Other things that will cause lean readings on both would be a maf going bad or a leak some where between the maf and turbo.
Boosting to about 16-17psi steady, before fall off to 14-15 spikes around 18-20psi. I will be looking for cracked vac lines this weekend; does anyone have a good diagram of the vac lines near the intake or photos? I think the MAF the next inline to be replaced. Also I am running the Evom intake, does anyone know the filter diameter/cone size for replacement?
Thx for all the info!

what do i need to do to look at block 032? I have VAG-COM but am still learning all its functions. should there be any reason for it to sound like a leak from the rear of the engine? near where the rear vac line from the manifold goes to some sort of valve it sounds like air or liquid flowing. This is only when the car is running, i have not been able to run a leak test with the engine off yet. i thought things were fixed then while coasting to a stop for a light, the car did a very slight stutter as if the AC had turned on and a lean code came up. I have an 01 1.8T with the same software version as the original poster of this thread.
