so i posted a week or two ago about replacing the oil pan and i'm waiting to fix it all but i am confused. are the upper and lower oil pan gaskets the same or are they different? i can't seem to find an upper oil pan gasket anywhere! this may be the stupidest question ever but please help

i have a 2001 a4 2.8 quattro

 

I'm confused...I only have ONE oil PAN gasket on my 98 A4 Quattro?? I've replaced it many times.....???
