Yes and no. There's really not that many good choices for upgraded clutches in our cars. SouthBend is a sure bet, Clutch Masters is great if you can spend the money and plan on launching the car a lot or going with big power. Either way, you can trust Mike. My brother and I are both using SB stage 3 with a SB 20 LBS. LWFW (OK, well my is still sitting on my toolbox), but this was the best choice for us, requiring everyday drivability with the potential to handle up to a GTRS.

C'mon. Tell your friends to get on this: GIAC group buy! S4's too!

Hey Jmgrande, why not open this for the VW folks at www.passatworld.com
I am sure there would be lots of interest there. They are identical engines...

well a while back over on audizine i remember seeing a few people that were having failures of their SB clutches. making me personally steer away from SB. I think when im ready to upgrade Im going to do a custom twin plate setup.

That is not 100% true because I sell South Bend, Clutch Masters, Spec and 034 so I suggest what clutch would be best for that car on how much power and how its going to be used even if that person is going to buy from me or not. I have been testing clutch setups for the last 9 years and I have driven plenty of other cars with different clutch setups to know how they feel.

I have used, driven or raced cars that have had Spec, South Bend, Werks of Art(no longer sold), Clutch Masters, Tilton and Exedy.

Have to understand I sell parts so people can get what they need at a great price not what a shop wants to sell them, this is why I deal with so many companies and why I work hard to get them to make new products. I am not here to BS anyone so they buy what I want them to buy.
