So back in Feb. I got a GIAC chip on my Audi. It was done at an authorized dealer, etc etc. It's been working really great, but this past month, I've noticed that sometimes when I start my car it runs as if everything is back to stock. No codes pull up nor are there any lights going on on my dash. When I shut down my car and restart it it usually remedies the problem. It does it maybe 3-4 times a week.

Just wondering if anyone else with the GIAC chip on thier b5 is running into similar problems.

 

sounds like the car goes into a soft limp mod, it usually gets reset when you turn the key off and back on. Have you checked with a vagcom to see if you have any codes?

I checked it at Autozone. I usually go to this Autozone all the time when I think I'll have a possible code that can be pulled up.

oh well, guess i'll just live with this lol [:'(]
