So I am getting my 2.8 tommorow and i think the first thing i am going to do to it is seamfoam it. I can hear the engine have the dreaded 'tick' slowly coming on and i hear this seamfoam deal can potentially fix it.

Ive read tons of DIY but wanted to get feedback and any tips before i do it. I really really really dont want to ef up my car the first day i have it lol.

 

what are you seafoaming?

crank case, put in and leave for about 500 miles...

tank put in when you fill up

vac, make sure someone can keep it running for you
