Hi everybody. I am new in this. I own a 2001 A4 TO. I noticed recently that the temperature indicator is acting funny. as you well know the temperature in Audi reaches the optimal temperature in a few minutes while driving. well as I said I noticed that while I am driving for a while the indicator drops to C position and goes back to the top of indicator after the car stops. there is not warning indicator of overheating or cooling system malfunction. Anybody have experienced the same. thank you

 

Time for a new ECT (Engine Coolant Tempurature) Sensor.

Depending on your year there about 20 bucks.

I think the sensor tells the fan when to kick on..... so you might as well spend the 20$ and do it yourself.. easy job

 

well. I am afraid i won't be able to do it myself. not good with these things. any idea how much could it cost if a dealer works on it?
I also had a problem with the blinkers. al the sadden stopped blinking. they seems to work fine now
