Project de-rice is still on track, I bought some OEM tails and put them in I wish they were face lift but these look good too. I also painted my lower mesh black. Next I will be selling my 18's and buying my S4 side skirts and OEM rear lip then stock pile as many parts in my spare bedroom over the winter for spring . Don't mind my bumper it needs a respray bad wich I hope to do next summer as well.

 

ill try on your 18s before you sell them!

idk why everyone loves those facelift tails so much, i think they look awful. i much prefer my pre facelift tails. de ricification is coming along, keep it up.

 

I agree with you as well with the tail lights. apparently everyone needs to replace their tail lights when they get these cars, but like you I happen to like them. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

 

Don't get me wrong I really love them especially compared to the ones the previous owner had on there... He had altezzas...

I have the pre-facelift tail lights as well, I don't mind them. Not a huge fan of the orange, but it doesn't bother me enough to go to the trouble of swapping them out. I may tint them red in the spring to hide the orange though.

Anyhoo, it's good to see you putting that B5 back to the way the Audi gods intended. I dunno who had it before you but they need to be slapped. I gotta say though, those headlights don't really bother me either. I'm usually against halos on a B5, but for some reason those look ok. If you DO wanna replace them, I suggest eBay. I got my DEPO's from an eBay store when I did the 2-1piece conversion and I couldn't be happier.

 

im not a big fan of the 96/97 tails. i like my 99.5 tails. and +1 for all red prefaclift tails.

yea car is looking good. the halos arnt that bad. im not a big fan of mine, been trying to get rid of them but i need money to get ecodes first.

 

I like the color combination of the pre-facelift taillights on your car.

 

I think it's the lighting. The amber is there on the pass side l. Probly a phone shot or no flash.

 

Yeah used my phone to take the pics, I'm thinking of 1 piece depos, the lights will be done most likely last. He has it wired to when you turn on just the parking lights the blue halos light up as well, I'm wondering what to do with that wire I know some headlights come with city lights and that would be a cool way to use that extra wire. Thanks for the comments, the previous owner spent alot of time and money on the car but obviously didn't get schooled on euro style.... He also had just purchases a mini s when he sold this to me.... not sure I wanna know what that looks like now.
