@jonbonesjones - what is the paint code on that silver trunk lid and where are you located? I'm interested if you're within striking distance of Rochester, NY or Danbury, CT.

I have a green one I've been meaning to get painted but never got around to it, and probably never will. If I could just drop this in place, I'd jump all over it.

 

I think they only had the euro trunk in the states in 96. so that makes it the early silver anyone chime in with the code?

 

It's LY7M, same paint code as my car. To reiterate the question: where are you located? I too would be interested in your trunk lid (because of paint reasons and it's a Euro).

 

Are you sure thats the code? it sounds like the late paint code, i will check mine today because i know it doesn't match my 99.5 I am in MD zip 21074 I will say the trunk needs a good buff and a few touch ups, A trunk latch, and license plate bulbs it does have the sockets themselves. I can ship it wherever along as you are paying for it.

 

That's the paint code of my 98.5, and a reference I looked up said it's the same paint code for 96. You are facelift, which to my understanding got the newer paint options, so it makes sense to me it doesn't match your car.

 

my 99.5 facelift code is ly7w. So it will match your silver. It does need touching up ill get you some pictures tonight pm me with an offer if your interested
