Greetings!!!
I agree w/ CCA4. I have the 30v and I much prefer it over the 1.8t. Specially after driving one today... I was like where the hell did all torque go! I don't like having to wait for the turbo for torque lol.
Yea im really happy i got the 2.8.
If i would have gotten a 1.8t with the same milage it would have been dead and if i would have gotten one that wasnt dead i would have been broke :-P
So anyways i started a new thread for the sound and
HERE IS THE SOUND THREAD!!!!!!

ya so do the tests from scaudi.com to tell you the truth i had alot of the test's done not to long ago and passed pretty well on all of them it is was maintained it will do fine I'm about to hit 205,000miles soon still running like a champ
Well i checked out scaudi.com and i think youre talking about the compression test and leak down?
Is there anything else you reccomend doing?
Where should i be able to pick up a nice cheap SC like the 2100$$ one you found? scaudi seems like its pretty dead

jk
welcome to the forums! sounds like we got a 2.8er that might actually get the s/c upgrade. for what you are wanting to do u really should have gotten a 1.8T though.

Well the story is that i couldnt find a decent 1.8.
Ive also had a 1.8t miata that i blew up once and ripped the rear end out of it the night before a guy flew 1k miles to pick it up
My guess is that the 2.8 is more reliable. Ive had my fair share of 4 cyls and i actually wasnt planning on modding the car. Now that ive found out these SCs are working so well i just cant wait to slap it on.
Of course my bank account will have to wait
Im looking at 4 pads and coilovers right now. Anyone have reccomendations for those?
I probably should have gotten a 1.8, youre right. I am coping with the fact i didnt just get 30whp (guess) from a MBC and 20 more from an intake. But hey i got a 2.8 and i still fell in love with it the second i drove it. I love having low end torque and its my first v6 and AWD car. I need this lesson.

Statdev - G1 kits are hard to find, especially complete. That's not to say they're not out there, but from what i've been told, there are only about 12 G1 kits in the US, and of that, about 5 or 6 are complete and running (myself included).
To save you some headache, you're better off looking for a G2 kit. Unfortunately, you'll have to dump around $2500 to $3000 for a used one. Keep digging on the interweb (E-bay), you'll find something
