Default Gt2871R Eliminator

Does anybody have the power numbers HP and Ftlbs for the GT2871R eliminator setup with a mild tune? If possible list supporting mods also, I ask because I have a tiptronic transmission and I want to know if my transmison will hold up for a while till I can get a level 10 upgrade?

there have been people who run a full 2871r or larger on the stock auto trans with no problems. obviously a manual would be best but a 2871 elim isnt going to break your car as long as it is in good condition to start with. you probably dont even need the lvl 10 upgrade though it couldnt hurt.

GT2871R- Pretty much the same as the GT28RS only with a bigger 71mm compressor wheel. .63/.64 A/R is the faster spooling one. It should be fully spooled ~3600RPM. The .82/.86 A/R has a bit more lag, full boost right around 4KRPM, but it produces more top end power. With the .86 A/R you will need the same mods as the gt28rs, but with the .64 A/R you will need that plus new forged connecting rods if your planning on running it past 20psi. Most AEB guys go with Scat rods, and all others use Integrated Engineering rods w/ 19mm wrist pins (unless you swap in 20mm pistons). Some people dispute whether or not you need new rods with the .86 A/R but there are some guys using stock rods and haven't run into a problem...yet. And you'll also want a stage 4 clutch. 2871r will max out around 500hp

^well you can stick that back in the newbie guide and go back to answering the question

The question is for torque #'s and HP #'s and you post up a graph showing PSI and RPM.

notice he said eliminator, not full 2871. its a 350 whp turbo on a crappy 200hp K0x flange. you could probably expect somewhere around 280-300whp.

I have a dyno plot from 034 of Javad's personal daily driver 2001 with a elim kit on it. On CA 91 octane it put down 280whp using Uni tune.

Greg put down 330whp down on race gas and 22-25psi on his B6 running a GT2871r elim kit using Revo tuning. His last dyno numbers were around 370whp running 30psi on 110 octane.

Javad's peak tq was right around 240 at the wheels. Greg's tq numbers were about the same as his hp on the 30psi setup.
