Had some paintwork done (PICS)
I think it looks sick the way it is, apart from the lowers being a touch off like you said. I don't think i'd like the rest of the cockpit black, but maybe photoshop it and post it? And i like the sticker in the last pic, GO PENS! ;-)
Looks really nice i like the color of your car looks like a really clean car.
I had my lowers painted yesterday and total cost was $15 lol
Autozone Duplicolor and Gray primer and Clear coat. Worked out great i think blends in really well. $1400 thats insane for such small work. My brother can paint cars for $500 i mean cars whole thing. I think mechanics always overcharge on paining anything. My buddy took his into a show to have kit painted and they wanted $2200 for simple deep blue color thats more than the price of the kit so we did the same thing as i did to my car. DUPLICOLOR lol
congrats on the lowers buddy looks really awesome.
Maybe some tints and black interior for the future???

Thanks guys. I'm reconsidering the painting of the remainder of the roof. I may divert those funds to having my rear bumper and valance resprayed so they match. I was looking at the car again today, and while the color is off a bit, it's really not that noticable - it's only the rear valance that bugs me. White is a bitch to match, so i think i'm going to live with it
The price i paid isn't for just paint - i replaced the lower door moldings with new one's, and they also removed all of the lower trim pieces and front and rear bumpers before they painted them. So there were some labor costs involved. The price also includes filling in two dents in the roof, as well as paint.
I've had work done at this shop before, and they are the only shop in the area that's really familiar with Audi's (this is the shop my Audi dealer sends paint-work to), so i would rather pay a little more than to take it down the road to Macco only to have the paint come off after a year, and quality of work not be as good

Agreed with Mr. Flippant. The black roof alone looks great - I'd even leave the hood alone. I'd also talk with the shop about getting the lowers matched better - hopefully they can do something about it. That roof treatment is **** though.
So my wife thinks your wheels look like the spoke wheels on the old Chrysler K-cars! I told her they were BBS-LM's and that she could not speak such blasphemy in this house! She didn't really get the black roof, and then told me that I should paint mine black. I told her I'm gonna paint mine white. While I think $1400 for that work is a little steep, I think it looks killer. You should do a white and black combo on the wheels now. White with a black lip would looks hella sick!
