Headlight issues (aftermarket HID)
Hi
I recently installed a HID Kit using the existing headlight wiring. I can only get both the headlights to work part time, depending on wether or not i time flicking the headlight switch on the steering column on at the same time as the car. If i do not time it perfectly on the driver side headlight will turn on. This is repeatable most of the time. If i give the headlight a constant 12V from the battery rather than having the cars relay turn the headlight on it will turn on without a problem. I figure it has to be something to do with the stock wiring. Where should i start? There was no problem with this before the HIDs.
Thanks
Brian

wut year is your audi and do u have Daylight running lights...i think the prefacelift a4 99 and older use the headlights as DRL while the 99.5+ use the fogs if thats the case and you have a prefacelift a4 with DRL your goin to have to disable it http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext7.shtml ... im not 100% sure this is wuts causing your lights not to turn but if you dont have DRls then dont even bother with this maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.
