Default Heater Core Question *Help*

So I went into the stealership today and got my heater core flushed and my heat works but only when im going fast (have the rpm's going) otherwise its cold air again. They left a small note on the work order. "only has heat off idle"

I have no idea what that means. Is that a nice way of saying I need a new heater core?[>:]

My Car: 1997 Audi A4 1.8T 126,828 miles.

No, that means the stealership didn't want to finish their job.

They didn't bleed the core correctly, or at all. Audi's are a bitch to bleed the heater core due to where they sit and where the hoses are. There are two ways to approach this: one is to drive it a bunch. Eventually the air will work its way out of the core. Make sure you check your coolant level, as it will drop as the air is bled though the system. Don't try to speed it along by opening the coolant resivour when the car is hot; the tank is under pressure.

Two: bleed it yourself. It's relatively easy to do. http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73219

I had the same stupid thing happen to me when I did a coolant flush on my 99 2.8. Freaked me out at first until I realized what was going on.
