Is the sound only at idle? Mine made sounds similar to what you described and it ended up being the cam chain tensioner. No one mentioned it yet thought I'd toss it out there.
Did you fix this yourself? Is there a DIY for this job? I searched, but could not find one..

Was the light red or orange? Red=low oil pressure (not good) Orange=low oil level (also not good but not as bad as red).
If it was red search 'seafoam' and do an oil change after that treatment.

The low oil pressure indicator can be a sign of engine sludge. The sludge gets caught up in the oil pick up tube thus clogging it and causing low oil pressure. I guess the orange one can just as bad if you've got an oil leak somewhere.A seafoam treatment may help clean some of that sh** out of there. GL.

Seafoam treatment is a good start. Search here - there's a million posts about it, and an active thread somewhere in the first few pages of this forum.

Probably because low oil pressure means you're leaking somewhere... whereas low oil you can just fill.

Is it possible that the leak i have could be causing my lifters to tick or tap from low oil pressure?
