Help 99.5 audi a4 stuttering
I got the transmission done like 2 months ago, and that was before i brought it in for stuttering, on the transmission invoice it says, " I herby authoirze the above repair work to be done alone with the necessary material an dhereby grant you and/or your employees permission to operate teh vehicle for the purposes of testing and inspection. An express mechanics lien is herby acknoledged on above vehicle to secure the amount of repairs therto" Which on the invoice it says, transmission, exhaust down pipe, filter and fluid, sway bar links, and control arms, and exhaust sleeve. NOTHING about the stuttering because I brought it in after the transmission for them to look at the stuttering and since I brought it in, i have not gotten ONE bill or invoice or signed anything.
BUT TRY TO SETTLE IT OUT OF COURT
The rust around the bolts on the "new" coil pack is probably just because they reused the bolts w/ the new coil. New coil packs don't come with new bolts. Without going back and reading, is there still a misfire registered on the cylinder that new new coil pack is on? I would double check with another dealer about the recall.
About the legal thing- Introduce language like "seeking a legal opinion" and "damages." I agree that you shouldn't initialy go at them threatening to sue, etc.
If you end up saving some money on this, I wouldn't hesitate to get THESE. It's cheaper to buy 4 than it is to buy individualy-even though you already had one replaced. I guess this is sort of throwing parts at your car to see what happens, but I can't think of anything else. If they don't fix it then there is always a big demand for them around here. You could resell them and make your money back. Or, I hate to say it- you may just want to scratch that idea and take it to the dealer. You've been through enough.

yah its still stuttering and saying misfire on cylinder 3- which is the one with the new coil pack, the only other thing i can think of is the fuel injector. they said they checked them, but they have lied throughout this whole thing and i belive that when fuel injectors are bad is stutters when 'stepping' on it, or going at a faster speed, when getting on the highway it stutters and it even stuters when idiling.
yeah those coil packs are cheap! i will def have to check those out, thank you! I prob should take it to the dealer they want to charge me 120.00 though to diagnose it which i guess isn't that bad considering i've already spent 1500 trying to figure it out.

Very good point on the fuel injector(s). I don't really hear about failing injectors, but it's possible considering everything else has been ruled out other than a short in the main harness. I have some fuel injectors for an AEB engine I can send you for real cheap. PM me if you want to try them. I have to go to the post office tomorrow anyways.
Those coil packs that I posted are Meyle- which would be as good or better than a genuine audi part. Meyle is huge in the world of oem equivalent german parts. Meyle is originally who designed and introduced beefier tie rod ends for our cars to replace the crappy genuine audi one's. The dealer still uses the crappy one's.

nope not yet, I haven't gone in there yet, i didn't get home from the Pats game till 2 this morning, so i'll go in at the beginning of next week.
as for my car- still not fixed and still a mystery. I'm going to try fuel injectors and i have to fix that hose.. I'm not sure what hose it is though, its like directly under the manifold does anyone know?and If fuel injectors don't work i am going to have to see about the wire harness for the spark plugs.
