did you do any type of work recently that would have caused the lamps to be removed?

The adjustments are 6mm allen screws behind the lights under the hood. There is one accessible through the fender that does aiming left and right and another about midway between the fender and the radiator that does the up and down.

To aim them properly, find a level parking lot with a wall at one end. Pull up to the wall as close as you can and mark the position of the step and cutoff with painter's tape. Back away from the wall ~25ft adjust the screws until the cutoff is 3" below the line you marked and the steps are in the same location.

ok so the one in the fender does left and right and the one closest to the radiator does up and down so is it clockwise down and counter clockwise up?

It doesn't matter, you'll be their adjusting your lights, no point in asking which way you spin it, try counter clock, if they don't go down, go clockwise then. Simple.
