I have a 2000 A4 1.8T My EPC light will come on then the car looses power and won't start until it sits for awhile. I doesn't always happen every time I drive it but its been happening a lot. My check engine light doesn't come on or any other light. But as soon as the EPC light comes on it dies. I had a mechanic read the codes and he changed out the main sensor but it did it again today. I've tried reading other posts but they all talk about RPMS mine just does it randomly. Today I stopped a few different places then came out of a store and it wouldn't start so I let it sit for about 30 min and it started, I got halfway home and the EPC light came while I was driving down the street and lost power. Which is consistent with the other times. Anyone have any idea what it could be? I'm so sick of this car and want to drive it off a cliff..
