You should really listen to the opinions of everyone in this forum. As for the "muffler" you want to install first, honestly on a 2.8 the gains are very slight with basic bolt ons and theres plenty of other things you can do with the $$. What color is the car? Maybe you can hit the lowers, throw on some wheels, and a set of coilovers as 01afour stated. Also with 130,000 on that thing, the car really isn't a baby anymore. It will last, if shes takin care of properly...but personally, I would hit the aesthetics. Levae the super tuning to the next newer Audi you'll soon be pickin up. Once you go Quattro...

You gotta get off this sound kick bro. Whats "sound" if you don't have the power or other mod's to back it up? Its just a ridiculously loud, slow car. Its an Audi my friend, not a Civic Si.
