my car needs a new tranny i think but thats not the question. i think my car has a carbon build up and it wont start, it starts for about 3 seconds the first try and after that its a no go. when i first got the car my problem was that until the car warmed up (temp gauge got to the first notch) if i drove the car even a little bit it would misfire, shake like hell, and then die. does anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem. i changed the ignition module and my oil filter had a crack so i had no oil pressure and i even changed the plugs. i have no idea what could be causing this problem. please someone help.

 

you have a check engine light on???/
check all the intake hoses if they all on correctly, check the maf sensor if it is good , then go from there.
