My 97 1.8t jumps into limp mode in cold starts. Initially. Then my turbocharger went out n needed rebuilding but now my mech cant test as it keeps on getting into limp mode.

So i need either

1. Replacement - 8D0 927 156 S or BK
2. Repair since the part is hard to get- anyone knows where can i repair this?is it repairable,

Urgent help needed as i dont have a spare car and i have been taking cabs to work...costly n inconvenient..pls help,.im in kuala lumpur malaysia btw

 

first, have you disconnected the battery for a while? have you cleared any trouble codes?

 

Yes my mechanic has and he cleared the trouble codes. He tried my control unit on another same model and it showed the same symptoms.
