can you explain this in more detail? how is it different? not saying youre wrong, i just dont know everything about how these cars work yet

 

2001's have a wideband O2 sensor which is more accurate so the 2001 ECU pays closer attention to this reading when dispensing fuel. the 2000 and older cars have narrow band O2 sensors which are less accurate and the car relies more on MAF readings for fuel delivery, though the primary o2 reading still does matter.

 

the hesitation and stuttering i was getting was from the exhaust leak...just ordered a new test pipe and gasket set and ill be good to go.
