Default help please, seat issue

So, I am new to this forum, and to Audis in general. I recently acquired a 2000 A4, and I love it! There are a few things I need fix.

My driver seat is ripped bad. I cannot seem to find a replacement driver side seat however it seems the market is flooded w/ passenger seats.

My question is, can I use a passenger seat in the driver location by switching out the brackets from my ripped driver seat?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You could probably have it repaired for a couple hundred bucks.

Thanks, but I already went that route, it is not repairable but the shop could recover it, however they can't gain access to the exact color/style of the material.

The seat tears are super common with these cars, you find more passenger seats in better condition do to they don't get sat in as much as the driver seat. Time for custom seats! I was thinking about redoing mine like the new VW Golf... Do it black and burberry!

The Audi classifieds on www.vwvortex.com has a huge amount of parts for sale and you'll probably find a seat there.

Yeah I already checked there, no luck. Thanks for the input though.
