Hi all. I have this fault code

01274 - Air Flow Flap Positioning Motor (V71)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent

anybody know where this part is exactly at? i read somewhere that its behind the glove box but that was for an 02 a4 not sure if its the same with us. Also a part number or a link where i can get it at will really help. Thanks guys. I'm running into numerous ac fault codes.

 

its behind the dash, hard as **** to access but can be done

i believe 8E2820511A is the part number atleast it is for 01

 

Aahhh **** that doesnt sound good at all lol. Anyone know a diy thread for this? Also the part only brings up parts in ebay uk and some foreign sites. Could there be another part number? Thanks

 

i have only found on for vw mk2s but its behind the glove box there seems to be a strap but once you can remove the glove box you are supposed to be able to see it. its just a matter of getting it out, anyone have a bently PDF right now this would be the time to use it. i highly doubt the shitty haynes has it but ill look later.

 

I found this but its for an 02 a4. I wonder if it would also be the same for my 01 a4. Watcha think?

02 would be from a b6 so no need 96-2001
