Default Hesitation. Slight power loss. Lag in acceleration

Ok so here is the deal: =/
I decided to replace spark plugs about a month ago as preventive maintenance and to see if I could squeeze in some extra power other than the speedtuning chip I got.
I had bosch platinum +2 and put in Bosch Platinum IR Fusions.
........
As soon as I start it up...MISFIRE!!! Backfiring!!! Jekring like crazy and no acceleration!! I thought my car was going to blow up. So after driving to the mechanic, no one knew what was wrong, I went back home and put the old spark plugs back in and problem solved!
Had to replace driver side catalytic converter because it melted.

Ok now almost a month after and my acceleration is not the same as before.
Like I said some hesitation power loss and lag in acceleration, car is not like before.....98 2.8 FWD with 127000 by the way.
Please Help!?!

bosch plugs are pre gapped. I'm going to seafoam it and change the plugs to NGK next week. Maybe it gets better

Not trying to sound like I support the dealers, but they sell(at least here in Barbados) ngk as standard plugs
