The 2 pieces do have a different plug style than the 1 pieces.

 

ok, so if i go to our vendors part of the forum, click on the hid special, buy them, when they get here i can more or less just plug it in? also, what level should i go with? i like the blue color like the 8000k has. i think blue looks cool. is there some reason why people dont like the higher levels? it seems to me that the bluer it looks, the cooler it looks. but maybe thats just me.

 

I have 8000k and love them. They put out slightly less light than the 6500k and 4600k, but are still about 209x brighter than stock. +1 for adding projectors, w/o them you'll just spray light everywhere, **** everyone off, and probably get a ticket.

 

well then, i guess i should invest in some projectors before i do this then. thanks. that will be my next investment

 

i got DEPO 1 pieces on ebay for like $250. OEM Valeo's go for like $600+, DEPO also makes 2-piece projectors if you're not feeling up to the conversion

 

this is my setup:
DDM 55W 5000K (& Nokya HyperYellow Stage I 2500K) in projectors


here's me vs my friend's DDM 35W 5000K (also with Nokya HyperYellow Stage I 2500K) & projectors as well

you can deffinately tell who's is brighter. also mine is PURE WHITE. it makes my friends look a lil yelowish. & mine are also brighter than my other friends OEM HIDs... hope this helps!

alright, i have one more question, for now. i am looking on ebay and seeing that some projector lights have a ring around the outside like bmw halo lights, does that actually work? do you need to do anything special to get that to work?

 

yeah exept I think they're too bright for these halogen projectors because the cut-off isn't very good. & i heard the B5 OEM HID projectors are different so im thinkin about trying those.....

 

yo mexican, those are 5000K's? Damn there bright, my 6000K's on my RAV definitely have less output, I didn't know it was that much different! Looks good.
