HIDs and stock 2 piece headlights
Ok I bought an HID kit and I thought that all I had to do was switch the old bulbs for the new HIDs and do a lil' rewiring but I keep coming back to the question of is this ok to do this with the stock 2 piece headligh assembly? And if it's not then how can I do the conversion to the 1 piece? here are pics of my headlight assembly right now, do you know if it'll be ok like that?

before you get blown up, NO reflector + HIDs = bad.
Heres the DIY- its very easy, ive done it twice now.
2-Piece to 1-Piece Headlight Conversion - AudiFreaks
a nice 1 piece headlight is the depo/helix for inexpensive
or you can buy oem and pay out the butt for them

They have bloods in Cal PA?
ok thanks for the tips guys. so i ended up buying new headlights to be able to use HIDs and some issues have come up. that i didn't think things through all the way. i've emailed the company back about the issues i had with their headlights and am waiting for a reply. here are some pics of the headlights and the issues
Here's a comparison of stock vs the new headlights:

This is a problem i had, the turn signals don't match. left is new, right is stock.

the reason stock is 3 prongs is the lightbulb has 2 filliments, one is driving light and the other is the turn signal.

metal bracket that came with the headlights doesn't reach to bolt it in place

...and spacing issues:

i also couldn't get the LEDs to work right. i'd have to do some rewiring. well i'm asking what do you guys think? is it a good look? should i keep it and try to rewire the LEDs and turn signals? should i, as i am waiting for a reply, try to get the company to design a turn signal/driving light to match? or should i return the headlights?

I had these headlights a while back... They're cheap, require way too much modification (as you've noted), and once you do get them fitted the beams tend to vibrate noticeable due to poor internal construction.
The set of them I bought literally ended up in the garbage. Then I got Depo 2-piece projectors (and retrofitted better projectors into them, but that's another story).
If you can still return them, you are best off going that route. Otherwise you can try to modify them to fit and hope for the best.
