238,000 on my '96 2.8, and run it to redline several times a day. No oil leaks, very little oil consumption- just routine maintenance, vacuuming the carpet, putting gas in it!

Come on Turbo, fess up. No AFC over 100,000 miles doesn't leak like an oil tanker off the Alaskan coast.

I have 156k just replaced a coil pack, and consumes oil I think. Spark plugs look good and clean.. All electronics work even the 6 CD changer in trunk work great.

Seriously mtroxel, it doesn't leak. Believe me, I know about leaking Audis. I once had a 5000 CS Turbo that always had to have a pan underneath to catch the oil, coolant, PS fluid, and trans fluid that dripped out.

That's pretty rare. I think that AFC has always been known as a leaker. Oil out of the head gaskets especially. Never done the head gaskets on that one?

Just passed 250,000. The only "problems" I've had are the ones I've created. CEL won't go out, seats have gone to hell. Other than that, perfect!

I am just about to hit 158K in my Audi and have been fixing it up since I got it from Craigslist.....lol.... it has been an amazing car. I found out at SoCalEuro in SD that it was an early 1998. No major issues yet.

The only engine gaskets ever changed were the cam covers. Even the crank and cam seals are OE. It doesn't leak now, but once the oil pressure switch failed and leaked pretty good. And I've had to seal up some of the PS system hoses.
