Hi everyone,

i bought a 98 quattro with the 2.8 30v. Not so lucky me let my brother-in-law work on it and somehow he got the hoses messed up after removing the intake to fix an O ring on the t pipe. now we can't figure what hose goes where. Checked the book and online and still can't get it. The car starts right up but smokes like a burning house. Can some one be kind enough to put up a simple to follow accurate description of what hose goes where, vacuum, throttle body and coolant from T pipe. It would be greatly appreciated.

 

Could you post a picture of the area in question? It'll help us and I can see if I can get corresponding pics from my car for you to compare.

 

Here are the vacuum connections for the AHA. 13 leads to the intake manifold changeover valve on the front of the motor, 11 leads to the vacuum accumulator tank in the left front fender.
