How to run 0 awg for my amp?
I'm just curious to know, what for alternator are you going to upgrade to? I'd like to bump mine up to 150 amps or more, and I'm figuring you're going to need at least that to run those amps, and I'd like to know more about what bolts up to the A4 without much trouble. Thanks!
Your alternator can't come close to keeping up with 0 gauge, so don't bother going bigger than 2 gauge unless you're upgrading that.
BTW, www.weldingsupply.com for wire.

On your 2000 you can drill out the Triangle opening that is not used on the 2000 but is used for the throttle cable on a ndbw car. It is located right in the center of the car next to the battery. This is where I ran my wire back when I was running 3 JBL amps.
Someone already posted a picture of it for you. You just need to remove the windshield wipers and the covers below them to really see it and to work on it.
It is inside the red circle which is just to the left of the brake/clutch fluid tank.

The 2 red circles are where the stock Throttle Cable runs on the ndbw cars.

Oh ok you guys were both talking about the same spot. Yeah I just looked there and that seems like a great spot to run the wire. I think the 0awg is a bit big but I can modify it.
I'm afraid the edge is going to cut into the wire creating a mega short. What did you guys use to protect the wire going through there?
Thanks

Yeah I'll have to do some dremel work there. Where could I get a grommet like that locally? Home depot?
Also what do you think of using the hole where the AC unit goes?

Any danger in that?
