I was rewiring my head unit and after I finished and put it back in, the heater seemingly has a mind of its own. About five minutes in to turning the car on, the HVAC unit will start to increase the temp and fans. I can't turn the temp down nor can I stop it short of turning the car off or holding the off button. When I release the off button it goes on again.

Any ideas what can be done to fix this?
