I dunno I think CC is where its at. I think the decision is gonna be more do I CC mod on the OEM headlights or buy another set of e-codes. I'm thinking the latter so I can go back to amber if i wanna.

Do that. Looks cleaner without the three holes too!

try a set of black ecodes. J's car has my old lights and it really completes the whole car imo. which is probably why they went with black housings on the B8.

the 3 holes can be fixed by stuffing it with aluminum foil. you can't even tell until you're 3 ft away.

The black housings do look nice on Jerrrrrrrrrrr's car, but he has a whole black and silver theme. Chris can't knock that, he has to come up with something else.

In other news, I just changed my oil. For starters I was right, between what I got outta the drain hole and the filter (and what I spilled on the ground ) it was only about 3.5 quarts. Counting what I put in the other night after the low oil light came on, that puts me at about 3/4qt. to 1qt. low. Add to that how black the oil was, and I'm pretty positive they DIDN'T change the oil right before I picked it up like they told me they did. O well. Learned my first big lesson about the 1.8T though, there are all kinds of new and exciting ways to burn the F*CK outta yourself lol

Also, got an email from the sales guy. He's mailing me the spare key that he forgot to give me at the dealership. win!

Don't you love it when places claim they'll do something, and then blatantly don't...

What the ****, I'd never run a business like that.

Yeah dude it wasn't even close like you could make a reasonable argument they changed it 200 or 500 or even 1000 miles ago. This **** looked like melted chocolate, it was nasty. On the up-side, the engine compartment was really clean, no leaks that I could see. I think it'll clean up nice after a few oil changes

Glad you're keeping the amber!

For some weird reason, when the car is lowered/slammed, the amber just adds on to the look. It's really weird how that works.

So in conclusion, keep the amber, slam the Avant, and be a playa.
