Looks like somebody's f*ckin science experiment in there . Needless to say I just ordered a new expansion tank and some coolant. Luckily I haven't been having any problems with CEL's or overheating yet, so hopefully I can take care of this before it becomes an issue. I'm thinking I should probably flush the whole cooling system with water after I drain the old stuff to. So for educational purposes, is this what happens when you add conventional coolant to G12, or is this just old, dirty coolant? From what I could see, the coolant in the tank was sort of a grungy brown color, not bright pink like it should be.

you should really pull off the lines to see how they look when you do the tank swap. either way run a coolant flush through
