I hate cops - Broken taillight ticket for rear fog light on
So back in October 08, I had my subs on rather loud and I had my rear fog light on. This ***** cop in Jersey City, NJ pulls me over and gives me a ticket for my rear fog light saying that I had a broken brake light, what an idiot!
So anyway, I've got trial tomorrow. Any help on how to win my case? I know the manual has information on this, but it might not be enough. I was thinking of definitely taking pictures of my car with my rear fog light on and off, and with brake lights on and off. However, if some of you guys also have pictures, that would be great!!
Thanks!

I think im gonna start driving around w/ the fog light on just to get pulled over and make fun of the cop on here... lol jk probly not but seriously ... thats retarded. Oh and I have driving around w/ a bad license plate bulb for months now and had a cop follow me but not pull me over (actually at that time both were out due to corrosion)...
So you just drive around with your rear fog light on? Sounds real smart. Cop is still a ***** for not just giving you a fix-it ticket. But, if your boomin your stereo around then he was looking for other things to hit you for.
Eh i agree that it lights up the sides of the roads, i drive with mine on too. I try not to use the rear foglight unless i'm on the highway or its pissing down rain or snow. I've driven behind people who use it when its nice out at night and its a bit of a distraction, they're bright lol. I still think its a BS ticket that you should have no problem getting out of. He was prolly just jealous of the rings
hmm thats odd. jersey city cops dont usually give a **** about things like that. do you live here? if so what part of the city did you get it in? i drive around with a busted taillight all the time in my windstar that i use for work and picking up things at home depot and such. never gotten pulled over (knock on wood) even though i know about half of the police dept. and fire dept. so it wouldnt be a problem. jcpd and nypd PBA cards and windshield fdjc shield ftw lol. the shield is on the audi though.
