Idea for deck lid speakers
No this isnt your typical deck lid speakers thread asking how do I remove them or what size are they, I have a totally different question.
So my speakers have been unplugged for over a year now because I blew them almost immediately since they were replaced with infinity 3 ways by the PO which are clearly not meant to just deliver bass.
Well my question/idea is can I put new speakers in here but have them run as components like door speakers? What I mean is I want them to act and sound like the door speakers do and not just be meant as a bass output. I figure I'd most likely have to run them off of a separate aftermarket amp but how would I go about getting an input? If anyone has done this before please share some input! And all advice/input is welcome!

Just use full-range two or three way speakers back there. Or even get separates and mount the tweeters at an angle on the c-pillars. You can run them off the head unit or tap into the factory amp's line-level input and use that to signal the new amp that drives the new speakers.
