Correct, as long as the camber isn't more than a few degrees and toe is within spec you will be fine.

I haven't personally heard that AWD cars are supposed to have a little negative camber. It does help with handling in racing applications but daily driving there's not much benefit. Unfortunately it's inevitable when you lower a car or don't have adjustable control arms.
