Also I heard that once it's on you smell straight fumes on the cabin

The exhaust will smell a tad more because you're removing the cat, but it's not going to stink up the cabin. The O2 sensor spacer I have is about twice as long as that one and it works very well. They can be had from RAI, 034, and eBay

I put a test pipe on a few days ago (to attempt to diagnose a clogged high-flow cat) and this morning with the driver window halfway down I definitely smelled exhaust when stopped at a light. But then again, my car creates more exhaust than yours does most likely, due to upgraded turbo and fueling.

metal man is the smell unbearable and is the o 2 sensor spacer too small? BTW it fits perfectly. I just don't want it to be a gas chamber inside you know its an audi

Make sure you use anti-seize between the spacer and the bung and the sensor and the spacer.

Just to be clear, you're planning to put that spacer at the downpipe-end of the test pipe, not the turbo-end of the test pipe, right?

You can always try it out, won't hurt anything. The worst that will happen is you'll get a CEL light for the post-cat O2 sensor.

Test pipe is in the hard part was the bottom side as for the spacer it went perfect just had to drill a bigger hole in the spacer and no CEL
