My instrument cluster quit workin all together. No backlighting no odometer, clock LCD, tach, speedometer, or gauges, nothing. Car runs fine. I stopped at the gas station and when I came out nothing worked. Any ideas?
I checked all fuses, all good, Removed and reseated plugs on back of cluster and checked wires couldn't find anything wrong.

there is a DIY on removing the cluster, it's not hard to do, I think it's like 2 torx screws or so , pull steering wheel all the way out and tilt down....your plug may have just fallen out of the back of it...

You can send it out and have it rebuilt to keep your odometer reading correct, or buy a different one (it will have different odometer reading), however, I believe any cluster with mileage over 10,000 can't be recoded, but I don't exactly remember. And I see you are in Germany....
I'm going to guess you checked for loose wiring behind the cluster etc...see if anything got loose under/behind the dash?

yea I checked all the wires under the dash. It's a US spec car, so a new one will be hard to find over here. And most of the Aholes on ebay won't ship to an APO.

I know you checked fuses but did you check voltage at the plugs? You can go here and find what each pin in the plug does. Find one like high beam indicator, parking lights, etc. that you know when it should be on and check to see if you are getting a voltage at the plug.
