I'm working on my diy front mount.. I can get a really good deal on a godspeed intercooler but its about 30"x12"... could I get that to fit on a 99.5 a4 with its stock bumper? I've got no problem trimming.

 

That is way to big. Best thing to do is to look at the measurement of the A4 1.8t FMIC kits. Most use cores that are 18" long, add 3" to each side for the end tank.


If you want to know if something will fit before you buy it, just cut out some cardboard or peg board in the shape/measurements of the core and try to fit it behind your bumper.
