Issue with brake system - Spongy brake with no caliper movement
After many failed attempts, i've fixed the brakes... and as luck would have it the engine decided to stop starting on the exact same day I got the brakes working again.
The week before I got the brakes working, I ran the engine (As I normally do) to keep the battery from going flat. After a few minutes of running, the engine started running choppily and then cut out (The fuel gauge was more or less at 0 at that stage so i'm assuming the car ran out of fuel).
A week later, I fixed the brakes in the morning and refueled with a 5L container of petrol I had lying around and tried to start the engine to no avail. I've tested for spark and it's there. The fuel pump is definitely still working fine (I can hear it running) and there seems to be decent fuel pressure at the fuel line (Fuel leaks out fairly rapidly when I even slightly loosen the nut of the line feeding the rail).
Any ideas?
