Default Just changed head gasket, still oil in coolant

I just recently changed my hg because I had a leak behind the engine (it was not coming from the plastic coolant flange, my first thought) and I also had oil in the coolant.

I drove it for one day and when I checked the oil level and it had went down. I pulled the top radiator hose off and sure enough there was oil in the coolant. I checked the head it seemed to be straight, torqued it to spec so I'm doubtful the HG is bad. The only other thing coming to mind is the oil cooler. Is it possible for this to leak oil into the coolant and if so, how can I check it?

Any other things I should check?

Your oil cooler probably failed internally, allowing coolant and oil to mix. It's more common than head gasket failure.

Yes, the oil cooler is way more likely to have caused the oil in your coolant. The dealer told me that the head gaskets do not go bad in the 1.8t Audis.

Just saying, it is highly unlikely the head gasket.
