im wondering is it normal for smoke to come from the engine too? i just did it about an hour ago and a lot of smoke came from then engine when the car was reved.

 

probably a small exhaust leak.

 

is it anything to worry about?

 

i think until u get a cel u dont have to worry, ur manifold gasket may be on its way out.

 

Yeah, mine smoked out of the turbo to cat flange as well. A small exhaust leak, perhaps, but if you can't hear it and the gasket is good and tight, there's not much you can do.

If the car is running fine, leave it alone. You don't want to go crazy tightening it and end up snapping a turbo stud.
