So I got ahold of a S4 front bumper and have it mounted...I know it will be a mixed review of having one on my B5 AEB.....I am not finished yet got to get the dent out and vent covers and euro plate or cover. What do you think so far guys?

I think it gives it more of an agro look lol but, I am thinking about going back stock more sleeper??

 

Are you planning on respraying the bumper? I've noticed pre-facelift cars are a different shade of blue and it really shows on your car. IMO the S4 bumper only fits in if you get side skirts and paint the rear valence.

 

Not to sure might..I like to be different a little but, I know that they did make a S4 in my year....I might like to find one or just find a motor and swap it out when I get closer to death in this 1.8T

 

The 1998 S4 was only available in Europe, we didn't see the S4 until 2000

The silver paint code between 1998 and 2000-2002 is definitely different, though. Both my 1998.5 and 2001.5 are silver but the 1998 has a slightly blue-ish hue to it.

 

Very nice to know...I will be looking for one as soon as I get done with school for sure. I like that body style a lot.

 

S4 bumper is 100% better looking than the A4 bumpers. You don't need the skirts and rear bumper, just paint the lowers you have when you get the bumper matched.

 

Nice thanks....I am going to one day get the whole car painted. I am just working on the mechanical side of things now. I needed that bumper for the FMIC I want to install. Evolution Racings Comp one....then I can go what ever turbo I want. I do like the look of the S4 bumper.....one day I will have a S4 too
