k04 vs elims
GT71R, gtrs or K04. Thinking about one of the3 setups. Would like the xtra power but would not want to sacrifice reliability.
I alrdy got a full 2.5 exhaust and an upgraded dv, butonly a 710n.
Anyone have a gtrs or GT71R & is that a reasonable turbo to have for a day to day driver? Is 2.5 inch exhaust big enough (i would not want to re-upgrade to 3 inch)? are they reliable setups?
Is there software needed for theelims & what is it?
on top of spending on the exhaust and DV i am prolly willing to go as deep as 5g for parts and labour?
would it be reasonable to get a bunch of work done at a local mechanic instead of a specialty performance shop? Are the performance mechanics that much better or is a lot of it just hype? Thanks for any advice/input. The guy did a real solid job replacing my clutch, but im guessing BT setups may be an entirely different story.

Just ask yourself, do you like having to shift early or do you want to feel the car pull to redline. The Elims are just much quicker no matter how you look at it since they make plenty of mid range power and peak hp up near redline where the K04 is out of breath.
2.5" exhaust is perfectly fine for the elims.
