Default the problems with elims?

so i had a question, what is wrong with elims?, is it because they use stock parts that may become weak or busted, is it because they dont make as much power as their non-elim counter parts? just want want the scoop (Cincy possibly)

they dont breath as well as full turbo's do, therefore they dont put down as much power. and if your upgrading the exhaust (manifold and dp)to help it breath better, your spending almost as much as you would for a full turbo anyways.

but mike and greg seem to be saying otherwise[>:] https://www.audiforums.com/m_846924/mpage_2/tm.htm

elims have less problems than the full version...I can attest for that
